One of the aspects that sets BW apart from other taxi providers is the quality and extent of its driver training and qualification.
All BW drivers have been trained in passenger care, wheelchair handling and moving, and in First Aid through Somerset County Council.
Drivers are now also being trained to obtain an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) in Road Passenger Transport. This qualification is designed to help drivers meet the needs of all passengers that they may carry, including those with disablities and special needs. It also covers training in health and safety, and the provision of chauffeur transport for those who may require it.
All drivers are CRB checked, and all receive regular medical examinations.
So all BW drivers, in whatever capacity, are fully able to meet all clients’ transport needs.
